Therapy for kids comes in all different forms, depending on the child’s age and specific needs. When inquiring about therapy for your child, it is important to remember that therapy for kids is tailored to their developmental stage. The healing process is meant to be engaging for them but also effective for their unique needs and concerns.
Children’s therapy can work to explore, improve, and develop emotional, and behavioral functioning. I provide child art therapy, psychotherapy, and play therapy techniques for children with varied needs. My unique approach combines both verbal and creative arts techniques. Kids make understanding of their world through imagination, creativity, and play! I work within those strengths to provide kids the tools they need to heal and grow. The work we would do together will help children to externalize their inner dialogue and feelings. The combination of art and language is particularly effective with people struggling with anxiety, depression, self esteem, socialization, focus and concentration.
